QAI | New Building!

City of Fort Myers, 2007

On June 28, 2007 we received a building permit enabling us to begin construction on our new office space.

On Tuesday, May 27, 2008 we made the move!

We had outgrown our current leased space on Metro Parkway, where we occupied two suites and approximately 3,000 square feet. The new space is nearly 5,500 square feet allowing continued growth from our current 13 employees up to 25, while also creating a more efficient and effective work space.

While we remain committed to our core customers of smaller land developers we have positioned ourselves with the staff and infrastructure to be able to serve larger developments. We look forward to competing with the larger engineering firms in Lee County for more sizable developments and municipal work.

The construction of our first company owned office space comes on the heals of several other initiatives that will allow us to serve our customers with improved speed and quality.

QAI New Office

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

In addition to our new office our custom designed project management software has been 2 years in development and is now operational. The software generates reports and issues notices to project managers for important development and zoning related timelines. The software provides insurance to our customers that we are on top of their project along with increasing our efficiency.

FULLY DIGITAL

QAI is fully electronic in the storage of our project applications and all related work. All materials produced and permit paperwork received is scanned and stored for quick retrieval and the ability to quickly forward information to clients, their personnel and subcontractors.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY

Along with our new office is a technology upgrade including a state-of-the-art server, fire proof server room, phone and media center, plus new printing and computer equipment. A new larger dedicated area for equipment resulted in more efficient printing and scanning and equipment redundancy in case of equipment failure.

Another key to our success is a highly qualified and experienced technical staff.  Using visualization software and all the hardware available to staff, QAI’s graphics abilities are capable of producing state-of-the-art quality documents for use in planning, design and construction and for public presentations.  CADD Technicians utilize Autocad with the Softdesk Civil Package that produce 3-dimensional drawings, profiles, and volumetric data. QAI also maintains water resources modeling software and pipe sizing software.

The site is located at 4301 Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard just north of Colonial Boulevard.
