Reliance Bank

Retail and Commercial Office Building

QAI was hired by Reliance Bank to design, permit and inspect the construction of their headquarters which will oversee this large nation wide banking conglomerate. The project consists of one 2 story 8,450 square foot bank building that serves as both a functional drive- thru walk-in bank and an office building for corporate staff. All onsite permitting was performed through Lee County. The project is located on Metro Pkwy which is a state owned road, requiring FDOT permitting for the drainage system. The other interesting issue with the permitting process was the restriction of monument signage from the overall Diamond Professional center in which this project is located. This was resolved via the lot spit procedure.

Colonial Volvo

Auto Dealership and Service

The first Volvo dealership to come to the Lee County area hired QAI to design and permit the construction of the new and used car sales facility located on Colonial Blvd. The new car show room/sales building is a 28,000 square foot 2 story building with multiple offices, a break room and maintenance garages. Permitting was to the City of Fort Myers specifications along with a water management permit through South Florida Water Management District.

An interesting design feature on this site was the automobile sales/ parking area. This area was engineered with great care to insure that none of the autos would be immersed in rain water at anytime.
