Since the start of his career in the Civil engineering business, Rodney has taken part in some of Lee counties most critical and complex projects, one being the City of Fort Myers downtown water and sewer redesign project averaging a total budget cost of $168 million; which has been the largest, most costly design that the City of Fort Myers has had in a long time. He has also helped in the growth of Lee County with his part in designing various schools, industrial warehouses, restaurants, gated residential communities, multi-family apartment communities, strip malls, banks, gas stations, churches, libraries, and many others.

Throughout his career with QAI; Rodney has taken on many new challenges and has been steadily learning all areas of the Civil design process. He has completed numerous continued educational courses to help him better understand and utilize different programs to aide in the accuracy of his plans. He has been certified by Autodesk for completion of their Land Development Desktop 2006 software, he has also been certified by Holophane Light and Vision Center for completion of their Visual lighting software classes, and is now able to provide an accurate lighting plan to fulfill the requirements of the City of Fort Myers and Lee county development review boards. He continues to look forward to becoming a certified lighting specialist after the completion of his engineering degree as an addition to being a Civil Engineer. Rodney has set many goals for himself that he works adamantly towards accomplishing, he strives to be the best at what he does, and he holds great expectations for himself and for his future with QAI.

Outside of the working environment; Rodney enjoys to relax (when not studying) by going fishing. He is also involved in the local youth football association with his stepson Anthony (11), and he loves to do a little shopping with his beautiful wife Amy. He also gets involved with the local Academy of Model Aeronautics as a hobby as well as assembling little projects at home with his stepson such as model rockets and model cars.
